Hi!
My name is Sylvia Darensburg. I have lived in California, primarily the Bay Area, for over 28 years. I worked in the insurance field for about seven years, got married and stayed married for eleven years, and had three lovely children from that relationship. I divorced and from that point on the bare necessities I took for granted as part of a two-parent household, became a
life-endangering struggle for me and my children to keep. It was truly rough and in some cases unnecessarily rough. We made it, and my children grew up into three successful young adults: two are in college, and one is graduating this year from high school.

I am part of a group of men and women that believe everyone can get what they need while helping others achieve their needs. I have worked in the nonprofit sector for three years as a community organizer and a fellow with two such nonprofits. This website is again another effort to place opportunities in the hands of every willing and able-bodied individual who want to live and live well, which is their human right.

My Hobbies

I love running; no not jogging--running (aerobic intensity) watching a good historical romance, and disney movies. I like to read and write and most of all I like to help people reach their ideal place in life.
